About That Fruit on the Back of Your Phone

I not quite in shape to get back to the story yet and there is a lot to tell. Right now we are going to talk a little bit about the dangers of technology on a spiritual level. I don’t mean to pick on Apple. I just flipped over my phone and the light bulb went off so I’m going to run with it because that is precisely the kind of thing we do around here. Smoke ’em if you got ’em and crack open a Dr. Pepper. This past month or so has been so mind-boggling. I have watched seemingly impossible things happen over and over again. I have stood back and watched Sky Gods pull levers repeatedly while my synapses and everyone else’s simultaneously exploded. Most people don’t understand what I am but I can tell you when people like me get busy with the sorts of problems I’ve been solving everyone should be afraid. Because at any moment those same Sky Gods just might pick up this planet and fucking shake it.

One of the things I’ve learned from my shamanic work is that people who have been through a lot have a really tough time opening up to people. Someone else already taught them not to trust. This can present a whole host of problems when you are trying to help someone help themselves. You have to be able to get in there and help them untangle themselves and many times people aren’t so comfortable with that and none of them understand the depth at which I’m experiencing them on an energetic level. I feel everything and it doesn’t matter what town I’m in. Another problem that presents itself is the Warrior Mentality. People who have experienced true darkness had to become a warrior to survive. They had to learn to be strong alone. So what the hell does this guy know and I don’t need anybody is a common reaction.

Now that we are living in the age of technology and information there are a lot more communication systems available to people. Unfortunately, if there is a devil he is probably living in Mark Zuckerberg’s butt. Facebook has become the refuge for people who are afraid or feel vulnerable. Facebook has become a place where people can say something without having to actually say it out loud. It becomes a secure hiding place. But what I don’t think many of them realize is that nobody really understands what that cryptic meme means. They think other people know what they are saying and who they are saying it to without actually saying anything. Talk about a form of communication that is ripe for constant miscommunication. The younger generations rely on it as a primary form of communication which honestly from what I’ve seen is the worst idea ever.

Worse yet we live in a world where people have lost their value. At the end of the day, we’ve all become a digital avatar in someone else’s phone that can be turned on and off at their leisure. You don’t have to deal with people anymore at a deeply personal level. All you have to do is choose when or if you are going to interact with their digital avatar. Sleep on that notification and you don’t even have to deal with it. Things like phones and Facebook fundamentally devalue human beings every day. We’ve all seen it. Especially the new school hookup and infidelity culture we’ve seen on social media. Personally, I don’t understand any of it. It’s like watching a foreign language scroll past. Heart posts, sex memes, and cars are the new black. And don’t even get me started on the holidays. Honesty and communication seems like a much better choice but so many people skip that because it’s easier to not deal.

It’s a really sad state of affairs. Especially given the cryptic symbolism being used. Who the fuck understands what sporting equipment or the gym means to someone else for example. Let me get out my secret decoder ring and I should have this solved sometime before doomsday. I’ll get that figured out right after I figure out which words I’m supposed to focus on in that cryptic meme someone spent fifteen minutes finding. It’s trash communication and life is short. I have watched someone on more than one occasion literally derail their own destiny using social media and faulty symbolism nobody really understands. It’s so destructive to us as human beings. Someday we are all going to be dead so speak the truth in your heart out loud for everyone to hear. It wasn’t always this easy to hide from the other humans. So anyway my fellow humans, wake up out there because there just might be a shit storm coming. Tell the people in your life that you love them, take that first kiss, go on an adventure, follow the signs, and live life like there is no tomorrow because none of us know how many days we have left.
